How to Pack Light & Stylize a Carry On

Just because you’re going away for a few days doesn’t mean you need to bring your closet with you. Let’s get real: we’re all cheap. Upholding the vows of cheapdom means I do things like walk up to the desk agent for check-in and try to disguise my bag behind me so they don’t weigh it.

Good news: you can get away with just toting a carry on that doesn’t weight a million pounds. Over years of traveling I’ve refined strategies to maximize what I choose to bring. Here’s a look at how to pack just a couple pairs of pants, two t-shirts, and a few accessories to create multiple looks.
